Well I just wanted to say bye to all of you, since I'm leaving for two weeks to go to the cottage!
But since I'm posting this, even though I probably wont be around to read any of the replies, do you guys ever go anywhere anually for vaccations? Do you hate packing? Is there any particular thing you always lose while packing?(for me it's Revolver, but this time I found it before we left :teeth1) Do you pack for a long time before hand or do you pack the night before you leave?
Well thats all for me! Take care folks!

Have a great time!
Not going abroad this year though we usually do, we are going to Cornwall for a week and back down to Devon the end of August, I really really hate packing so do it the day before.
On saying that my partner is badgering to go camping in Spain in October.

Hope you have a great trip, Leo! See you soon. :wave1:
We don't usually have any "traditional" vacation we go on every year... often we'll fly out East to visit with relatives, or maybe stay close to home and rent a cabin for a few days. We're not doing anything much this year, but I'll be going up to Edmonton (three hours north of me) for a day or two at the end of August... and that's how extensive my holidays will be this summer. :wink1:

Hope you had a great trip Leo!
The only trip we take every year is to the Sturgis, South Dakota Bike Rally in August. Some times for a whole week, sometimes just for a couple of days.
My husband usually takes 4-6 other bike trips a year. We try to go off camping at least one weekend.

Have a great trip Leo! :wave2:
We've gone on vacation every summer since I was 5 or 6 years old. We've gone some pretty neat places, like Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada. :smile1:

I don't do annual trips anywhere... to expensive when owning/paying off a home at the same time, have to save up for a good one I hope in a few years, my parents always took us somewhere for a week, we never went out of the country, but to a different place in the country for a week every year, they had ther hands full taking 6 kids on vacation, they were brave, I think :wink2:

Some years I take a "real" vacation and other years I just take a bunch of long weekends - depends on workload at the office and cash flow. If I can make it to England, I usually go in late August or early September because I've been super lucky with absolutely gorgeous weather at that time of year.
This year I haven't really gone anywhere, but I'm taking some time off in August for Beatlefest and then to visit my family the week after that. I'm hoping to go to Orlando to visit my friend there in October, maybe, but that's still up in the air right now. I'd like to get a trip to NYC/White Plains in this fall or maybe next spring too, but I might have to buy a new car sooner than I thought, so if that happens, I may have to just take my vacation time by hanging around town.
Oh, and I pack very last minute, but I think and plan about it for WEEKS in advance and I have lists upon lists upon lists, so the actual packing part is really easy.

The only place i'm going to this year is Beatlefest...I've been on a couple weekend trips, but for some reason i havent been on a real long vacation since 2000 i think. My family used to go on a trip at least once a year, but we dont do it anymore....
