Thats lovely to see, thanks. Me and my two boys stood outside at noon, and all the Red buses had pulled over and stopped. Our Red Double Deckers buses are a symbol of London so it was apt.

I also did the two minutes silence, whilst standing watching the BBC where they showed various parts in the UK where the 2 minutes was respected and shared by millions...it was a very impressing two minutes
In Holland all forms of public transport stopped for 2 minutes...bussiness were stopped...the stock exchange stopped... airplanes were held back...there was a lot of follow up

I was on a bus at midday. It pulled over to the side of the road and switched it's engine off for the two minutes silence, as did all the other buses.

The support we have had from outside the UK has been lovely.
I was at home getting my little girl fed and ready for nursery but we all observed the silence. My sister stood outside her office in Tavistock Square where the bus exploded. She said it was incredibly moving and emotional. Just watching it at home brought tears to my eye.

Maybe it would not be a bad idea if the Western world would also take at least a few seconds for the many many dead in Iraq every day, like for instance but not only...for the 74 dead, probably more, from Saturday's suicide attack. The 74+ also have families, relatives, and are all someone's child and many (like me) will wonder... "Why?"
