which song do you think is the least "beatles sounding song"? my choice is "goodnight"

I'd say one of the Indian songs - Love You To, Within You Without You, The Inner Light.

I can hear the debates already. I'd pick "Yesterday".

"Revolution 9" is not a song, so I can't vote that one... And neither "Yesterday" nor "Within You Without You" sound like Beatle songs, but rather than that are Paul and George solo experiments inside The Beatles... So that would be my choices...

On "The Inner Light", at least, you get to hear John and Paul doing backing vocals; just like Ringo plays tambourine on "Love You To"...

My vote would have to go to What Goes On. It has much more of a country sound than anything else that they did. I love George's pickin' in that one.

I consider all of the "sitar" song to sound quite Beatley, since they introduced the instrument to Rock and Roll.

What I hope you mean, and that also goes for boring Yesterday, is that it is non a 4 members contribution.

In that case I guess that The Inner Light is the George's first solo song, and not a bad one at all ! Lovely melody.

But I go with Goodnight, which could have been from a hankies movie soundtrack.

They are more Lennon's than Beatles' songs.

And they both are McCartney's.

Thinking about it I have to go with Goodnight sounds more like a musical or film song. But when a song doesn't sound like the beatles it's by the beatles, they don't have just one sound but they tried everyting, that's why they are great.

Multiple choice here!

Although I never cared for "Revolution #9," I would have to join in the chorus singing to get it voted the least Beatle sounding Beatle song.

how could any song be non-beatle? everything they made had their absolute stamp on it, even the covers they did.
