John and Paul on The tonight show in 69

I have been a regular visitor to Beatlelinks for several months , however this is my first post.
Does anyone out there know about this
and if so what did they talk about. Not exactly sure of the day they were on.

I know (from what I've seen on the anthology vids) that they talked about - among other things I'm sure - their time in India (John comments that he lost weight and came back looking a day older or something) and the whole Apple corps concept & rigmarole...I think they say something about how it was going out of control like a spinning top???
I can't remember exactly what is said though.

Maybe someone out there has some flash book that describes in great detail the entire show.

Hi, Jsky, and welcome to Beatlelinks. If I'm not mistaken, John and Paul appeared on The Tonight Show in '68. Johnny Carson was not there and the guest-host was Joe Garagiola.
They were there to talk about their new company, Apple Corps, Ltd. The interview did not go well, considering that Joe had no idea what John and Paul were talking about.
