Ýou have not seen this clip yet, but.....I have.... :smile1:
The start of the clip is the sound of dozens of people whispering and you see the front page of a newspaper called “Here Comes The Sun” which is a winkie reference to the English Tabloid of which it is known that some writers have a larger imagination than Walt Disney, which is a very nice quality when they would work at the Disney company, but they invent stories for a ‘news’-paper of which only page 3 is real.
Then, the song starts and from the middle of the page it opens to the view of George and his band, like for instance in one of the Got My Mind Set On You clips. It’s George in the middle and then a bit at the back from left to right Jeff on bass, Elton John on piano even wearing a normal outfit, Dhani looking great there on keyboards, Jim Keltner behind his sunglasses and Eric Clapton on guitar.
George sings and where the backing vocals are, Jeff comes to the mike. It is great to see this band in this combination.
The clip shows the band first but then the camera has George on only and it’s great to see him. He wears that nice dark blue suit and the light blue shirt which he also has on my favourite picture which stands beside my computer where he sits down with his Wilbury guitar.

At the part of “Oh yeah Gossip….Gossip oh yeah” with the multitracked vocals, we see 3 Georges and 3 Jeffs singing this middle part whilst they read a newspaper and headlines with gossipy words swimming through the screen from above left to down right and back to above right and down left, like in a video game I don’t recall the name of.
When the middle guitar bits of Eric come around you see his hand over the guitar and it’s a bit like the When We Was Fab video clip where you see George and this hand coming out of the guitar. There is a cigarette stuck on the guitar end and I believe that refers to the Bangla Desh concert where he also had that.
The camera moves along the band and we see the usual hair and sunglasses and a bit of the rest of the face of Jeff, then the honky tonk Elton enjoying himself, young Dhani having the time of his life in this great band, Jim as usual looking as if his mind is miles away and Eric playing his bluesy bits, looking at George in a relaxed and concentrated way.
At the second guitar solo of Eric, you first see EC playing it and George standing turned to him, like they often do and then you suddenly see John Cleese running through the gardens of Friar Park like he can do in Fawlty Towers up the stairs.... with a newspaper in his hand, the film is at extra speed like in the Comedy Capers things from the 1930’s and there sit Eric Idle, dressed like a Nun, and Michael Palin reading him/her from a travel magazine… and John points at an article on the front page and that is exactly in the song where you hear this fastfast talking voices and there they start talking about this both at full speed LOL and Eric Idle has his hand in front of his mouth…Michael is shaking his head…and there is this little text on the screen saying “OMG ever thought he was capable of doing that??? Such a gentleman”
Then in the last verse you see in the right side of the screen a little Monty kind of figure who could also have been in Yellow Submarine walking in with a hammer…and he has a hat on which has on the front side the name “Maxwell” printed on it….and he hits on newspaper fronts coming by
And then I woke up and thought I’d write this down.
