Maya has made a miracle recovery and CAN GO HOME!!!!!!!!!!

The surgeons said they have seen nothing like it before, they said she would be feeding through a tube for a few months but drank 6ox through a BOTTLE!!!!

They honestly can't believe it and the surgeons said that there is only the tiniest of risks are far as a stroke and her heart, she will remain in hospital over the weekend then to another hospital nearer their home and then she can go home!!! Everybody is in tears we cannot believe it, there should be a film made!!! Its' UNHEARD of!!!!!

I am convinced that all the positive thoughts you guys have sent had a big part to play, everyone has been fantastic, there were churches praying for her on Sunday, there were meditation groups meditating for her and just plain simple postive thoughts and words of love and support.

She still has to have another op in a few months and she has an 80% chance but she can do it, what a girl!! They will have their hands full when she's a teenager!!

Thank you so much, you guys have been brilliant, I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!

I am going to pour myself the biggest glass of wine now.

Oh Sally, that is the most wonderful news...I will tell you, I'm not a big believer in the power of prayer, but SOMETHING positive was going on regarding Maya, and I do believe that miracles can and do happen. (Yeah, contradictory, I know, but that's me, a bundle of contradictions...)

That's awesome, I am sure that Maya's parents must be beside themselves with joy, and it is well deserved.

Lots of love to them, to you, and to everyone who worked to help Maya in her time of need. You sure DO deserve that drink, honey! :wink1:

Lets face it Linkers, her mummy is a George fan and they named her after him in a round a bout way in honour of his beliefs so I reckon he must have been looking down too.

This song of mine will wind its music around you,
my child, like the fond arms of love.

The song of mine will touch your forehead
like a kiss of blessing.

When you are alone it will sit by your side and
whisper in your ear, when you are in the crowd
it will fence you about with aloofness.

My song will be like a pair of wings to your dreams,
it will transport your heart to the verge of the unknown.

It will be like the faithful star overhead
when dark night is over your road.

My song will sit in the pupils of your eyes,
and will carry your sight into the heart of things.

And when my voice is silenced in death,
my song will speak in your living heart.

Oh what wonderful news! I fully believe in the power of prayer - it has helped my family often thru the past few years, both in good times and bad. I hope the blessings for little Maya continue as she grows strong and healthy!
