What movies that are comming out this summer, or that have already come out do you want to see? I personally really wanna see:
Cinderella Man( I love history so this looks really good), Must love dogs (I love those stupid romantic comedies what can I say), The island ( okay I'm not the biggest sci fi fan but it really is an interesting concept, Ewan McGregor clones? And imagine if you will, that clonning people actually was possible, and that this was 1964, imagine all the fun we could have my fellow b-linker girls with our beatle clones:eyebrows:.....okay so really I only want to see the movie for Ewan, but oh well.), and Hitchhikers Guide (the book was great and I have heard good things ofthe movie)

I'm not a fan of big summer blockbusters but I would like to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as Johnny Depp is great.
Hate Russel Crowe so Cinderella Man is a nono.
War Of the Worlds is tempting but not sure why as Tom Cruise is a bit dull.

Willy Wonka (with the utterly wonderful Gene Wilder) was my favorite movie from the time I saw it at five until I was abour twelve-years-old. I still love it, so I won't be seeing the new one. I know Johnny Depp is a great actor, but a new Willy Wonka would never work for me. Besides, I think I read they've cut out the singing and the Oompa-Loopmas.
My boyfriend saw Cinderella Man with his brother and loved it, by the way.
I have no interest in Batman Franchise Strikes Again, War of the Worlds or any other summer blockbusters (although Bewitched looks interesting) but I thought The Island looked worthwile, too, mostly because it has Scarlett Johanson and Ewan McGregor in it.

Yay! Another Ewan McGregor fan :smile1: I'll be there the day The Island opens...can't wait to see it, and clones of Ewan? Shoot, count me in! :wink1:
I've seen Cinderella Man and I really liked it, I've become more interested in boxing since watching The Contender on NBC. And Hitchhiker's Guide is sooo great. The book is better, but really, how are you going to make a movie that is exactly like the book?

Oddly enough I have no desire to see movies in the theatre anymore.I don't think there's anything worth 10$.I can't remember the last time my husband and I went to a movie together. The last one we took the kids to was Shrek 2.I just ususally wait for the dvd.The next movie we'll actually see at the theatre will be "The Simpons" movie in 2007.That's when they say it will be out.

I want to go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at some point this summer (I think the Oompa Loompas are still in the movie--they were in the new preview I saw yesterday), and Batman Begins simply for the Christian Bale drool factor.
The best time I had at the movies so far this summer was yesterday... I took the preschoolers to see Clifford's Big Red Movie at the $1 Wednesday morning kiddie movies at our local theater. They had a fantastic time (and were really well-behaved, quite a feat for kids who probably had never been to the movies in their entire lives).

Yep, when the Simpsons movie comes out, I'll be there! :) I've seen Cinderella Man (don't really care for Russel Crowe though), but it was still good. I'll probably see the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie and maybe Bewitched.

I don't like the hassle of theaters anymore, but I would see the following:
Star Wars III
Batman Begins
Willy Wonka
Otherwise, I'm holding out for the new Harry Potter!

I saw Star Wars and liked it a lot and just today I saw Herbie. Yes, I know it's not a very classy movie and not a blockbuster by any means but I love Herbie and wanted to see it...Other than that, i dont know of any other movies i want to see till Pixar's Cars comes out in June of 2006...
