I just wanted to put in my two cents regarding artists that pay respect to the "Fabs" in terrific ways.
Most recent is a band called 'Swag' and their CD called "Catch All". It is a band made up of members from The Mavericks, Sixpence None The Richer, Cheap Trick and others who wrote original music but styles are close enough to make you think you stumbled on to a 'Rutles' session.
USA Today says that today's youth should pick up a copy of "Beatles 1" and Swag to appreciate both the artistry and the influence of the Fabs in music.
Check out Swag... it's a lost 60s album made in 2001!
