Hmm....yeah, it'd probably be Why Don't We Do It In the Road.

KIDDING.

Um, probably Nowhere Man, except that I'm a girl. But the lyrics kinda describe me, especially the "knows not where (s)he's going to." I'm kind of a lost little soul...

My answer will most likely change in about ten minutes, since this question is like asking which Beatles song is your favorite!http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

Hmmm. They didn't write a song called 'Fat Mike' so there really isn't a song to describe me.
Nowhere Man could be a choice.

At some point, I thought "I Want To Tell You" was about me. "Within You Without You" and "Think For Yourself" could be another choices of mine... "Nowhere Man", yeah, I thought about that particular one too...

"Nowhere Man" is probably fit me more than any other song. A couple of other ones could be "Carry That Weight" and "I'm A Loser".

So I take it that we can do it with solo songs too, right?

Then, "Dear Boy" by Paul (on "Ram") was definitely written about me. "Girlfriend" from "London Town" could be another choice. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

"His Name Is Legs" from George's "Extra Texture" LP or "Somedays" from Paul's "Pie".

If it has to be Beatley, then "When I'm 64"

I agree - that song puts feelings of mine into words...and that is something that is hard to do!
Of course "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" is really my song for obvious reasons http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif If I had a dollar for everytime that someone has thought they were really funny by singing that to me, I would be living the high life.
Sadly another one that puts my feelings into words is "The Night Before"....BooHoo!! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/cry.gif

Does the song have to be descriptive? Or can it just give you a feeling? Because the descriptive I'd have to give more thought. But I know the positive energy in "I saw her standing there" is me. But I'm not just 17... http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

My song is "I'm only sleeping" because most everyday during the school year I would give anything to ignore the desires of others and just lie in bed staring at the ceiling.

The non beatle song that is my anthem is " Old time Rock n' roll" by Bob Seger. That song is basically the story of my life.

Tonight it's "Oh! Darling":

When you told me, you didn't need me anymore
well you know I nearly broke down and cried
When you told me!!!!!
You didn't need me anymore!!!
Well you know, I nearly broke down!!!
And died.

GUYS SUCK!

Plus "I'm Looking Through You" once again, the lyrics are perfect.

You don't sound different but you have changed
I'm looking through you
You're not the same
Why tell me why did you not treat me right?
Love has a nasty habit of disappearing overnight.

What's up with that anyway?? I still say that love canNOT just simply "go away" overnight!http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/mad.gif

"Maybe I'm Amazed" sounds to me like the lament of a lost man whose only hope is the woman he loves... Yeah, to Paul it was happy because he found Linda. But to me... I didn't found my Linda, but I find the knife that still punctures me. And Paul's screaming only helps to get that feeling bigger! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/cry.gif

I'm not sure why we say "Good Friday" when we call the whole week "Holy Week", and even Saturday is "Holy Saturday"... maybe "good" is a corruption of "God"? Like "God be with you" was corrupted over the years to "good-bye"?

Yeah FPSHOT, there weren't many reasons to call that a "Good Friday"... But you English-speaking people have lots of weird things in your language... http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

We Dutch - who founded e.g. the now called America - do have our own language you know, just as you in Chile have Chile pepper.http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/scream2.gifhttp://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/siesta.gif

Sorry I included you in the bunch of English-speaking people. I was referring to the native speakers. But you are not pretty much different than them, because you speak very well...

I think "I Feel Fine" was written for me and "Nowhere Man" except that I'm a girl so it would be "Nowhere Girl" http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/rainbow4.gif

Ohh darkhorse you make me want to cry!! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/cry.gif Please promise me that you will never let another nasty girl do the puncture thing to you again. You are far too sweet!
When you do find your Linda, "Maybe I'm Amazed" will take on a whole new meaning for you.

Thanks for the kind words. The Forum has actually helped to get that feeling away from me. But she's not nasty. I'd say she was just confused. I too think you're sweet Lucy, so I'll too ask you to be careful with guys. We can be dangerous. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/devil2.gif

It soon will come a time when I will sing

And I'll do it better than Yoko, as I said before... http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

Thanks for your concern, Lucy, you're beyound sweet... http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif
