I know that there was a number of male singers that George liked (Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Carl Perkins). Does anyone know if there were any female singers he liked? Like, for example, Carole King, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, Dusty Springfield or any others? I think Bonnie plays a great slide guitar and has a real good voice. I wonder if George liked her style or any other woman's singing-songwriting, etc. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Well, he liked the female group The Donays enough to cover their song "Devil in His Heart" as "Devil in Her Heart" on With the Beatles.
