The saying that you don't really know what you're missing until it's gone rings pretty true in this case. It's a shame it had to happen like that to make them realise and appreciate the insurmountable worth of all that priceless material.

It is upsetting and disturbing,like the first story, where they were going to scrap all those unreleased Louis Amstrong tapes-for those who don't know, Louis was one of the true giants of Jazz.

Glad that guy decided to pick them up for safe-keeping! That's unforgiveable, really, to just scrap all that without as much as another thought.

Makes me upset, thinking how callous that is-one I heard, there are a few Beach Boys masters Capitol had for years lost, I beleive the 45 mixes for Fun, Fun, Fun and Why Do Fools Fall In Love? On the CD I beleive thye are mastered from a 45.
