I was reading a book that was about 1967 the other day. And as is only right a big part of it was about our BOYS. In fact it's called"Twenty Years ago today" Wich really gives you an idea of it published date..

ANYWAY....I found out that Sgt Pepper was realeased on JUNE 2nd of that year.
Exactly 13 years before My coming into this world. June 2nd is a very special day!!!!!
I always wondered why it is my favorite album!!! Of course there are more sane reasons. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

But I was wondering, now that I have become familiar with most of you, wich album you would choose if you could only take one with you on a roadtrip or something.
.....IN OTHER WORDS WHAT IS EVERONE'S FAVORITE ALBUM?....

Well a few days ago I said it was Revolver for a survey but after thinking about it I'd have to say it's the White Album because it has got a song for most every mood you could be in.

" No I'm a mocker."

Tough choice for me between Rubber Soul and Revolver, but I'd probably go with Rubber Soul....there's only one song on the whole album that I don't LOVE.

"Revolver". It blew my mind when I received it as a gift. I still can hear the LOUD guitars on "And Your Bird Can Sing" and "Taxman" played on my headphones. And I woulnd't have believed if somebody else had told me that The Beatles were recording indian tracks until I heard "Love You To"... And what can I say about "Tomorrow Never Knows" http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif Or, in other way, about "Here, There And Everywhere" That album is near perfection. (They should have included "Paperback Writer" and "Rain" as bonus tracks and that WOULD have been perfection http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif).

My second favorite is "Abbey Road". I agree about Side 2 being one of the best recordings ever made...
