A good send off for the Wilbury's or a poor show?
For me, it doesn't hold up to anything on the two albums but it's a decent enough track. The video is great though!

For me, it's one of their better songs... especially compared with those on Volume 3 (recorded arround the same time).

The song is fine as it is... but it's a pity that Roy was no longer arround, he would have "shone" on such a song, notably beefing up the chorus, with his wonderfull, low, gravely, voice...

The song... and that video... make me cry each time I watch it...

How can things like that be allowed to happen ?

I mean, the situation in Roumanian orphanages is even worst now, that 15 years ago, when that video was done and George set up a foundation to help them...

Man, that last shot... the woman picking up the baby and putting her head on his... you can just feel her sorrow.. I've got tears myself just writting this.

I haven't heard this song in such a long time. I think it's tucked away in a box with some other cassettes somewhere. I do like it though, I think they did a good job with it, and it was certainly for a good cause. Never managed to see the video.

I'm still waiting to get vol.1 on cd, and now i can't find my vol.3 cd :thinker: . The sooner they re-release them the better.
