Mary Hopkins, one of the first musicians to record on the Apple label, turns 55 today!

Actually, her name is Mary Hopkin, no "s" on the end.

And since this is a birthday thread for another musician other than the Beatles, I am going to move this to Not Only A Northern Song.

Oct 1 - Christie's biannual sale of pop music memorabilia includes several Beatles items. Among the highlights are Paul McCartney's handwritten lyrics for the Mary Hopkin tune Goodbye. The sale begins October 3.
