I'm sure most of you know about how Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon syncs up with The Wizard of Oz. Well after doing some surching on the subject, I came across a site that said The White Album syics up with The Wizard of Oz too. Here's the site, http://pages.hotbot.com/movies/skad13/oz.html
take a look and tell me what you think.

I've heard about the Dark Side of the Moon/Oz things several years ago, but I've never seen/heard about Oz linked with the "White Album". Looks like I'll have to try this out and see for myself.
I must confess that I've never tried doing this with the Pink Floyd LP either. Something else I'll have to do one of these days.

If there's a direct connection then that is good enough for me. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/tongue.gif

Ok, I went to that site and seriously- the White Album/Oz thing is the stupidest thing I've ever heard! Someone had WAY too much time on their hands.

I once played Magical Mystery Tour as the soundtrack of the movie "ET" and when ET was in the woods following the trail of candy., Blue Jay Way was playing.......

I havn't done the White Album one yet but I did do Dark Side of the Moon. Let me tell you it was creepy, all sorts of things went together, give it a try. I'm going to try the White Album sometime too, I'll let you know how that turns out.

I've tried them both and the Dark side of the moon went with the movie all the way through with things that tie into the movie better. The White Album had some things that went with the movie but for the most part it didn't go very well.

Do you think that doing the White Album to the movie is worth it or just a waste of time?

I did it when I was extremely bored and it gave me something to do besides surf the net or eat. But I wouldn't advise you to bother unless you are sincerely bored because if you have to pause it and then restart it the delay messes up the timing and you have to start it all over again ( I was almost to the end too)

Waste of time, but I suppose you will have to learn for yourself.
