Duran Duran

Does anyone else like them? For me they're right up there with the Beatles (obviously) and Elton John. People have a tendancy not to like them when the only song they know is, "Hungry Like the Wolf."

If anyone's not aware, they reunited in about 2001.

I used to absolutely detest them - songs like "The Reflex" or "Wild Boys" didn't help much either.
But I always used to like "Save a Prayer" and "Planet Earth".
And these days I think they weren't so bad after all. I'm an 80s child and I listen to 80s music a lot, Duran Duran were a big part of the 80s so live an let live I would say... :laugh5:

I do like Duran Duran! I liked them a lot back in the 80's and I still do, although I haven´t gotten around to buy their newest album yet. I have all the old 80's albums, though, and the Wedding Album from 1993. John was always my favorite in Duran Duran.

In 1983 I was 16 and all my friends were into Duran Duran but personally I wasn't into them or any of the 80's new romantic stuff and just got more and more into the 60' stuff instead.

I have their Greatest Hits album and like quite a few songs, but that's about as far as my interest goes really!!!
