What a fantastic song!! Did George and Jeff write this one for Roy? A great understated guitar with Roy's powerful vocal - a real classic!

they are all he's AR, not she's(that a girl), or the group you named would be "they wrote", hope that helps :smile1:

it wasn't a question AR69, I was trying to let you know, when you said above " No she wrote together this Song" that "she" is female in English(not men as you later typed about (Lynne/Dylan/Harrison/Petty/Orbison) are him/he(single person) or they(as a group of men), not "she", just trying to help!

i don't understand your Question?

Verse 1:
You always said that I'd be back again
That I'd come running to you in the end
I thought that you were on your own
And now I find you're not alone

Chorus:
I'll see you through the rain
Through the heartache and pain
It hurts like never before
You're not alone any more

Verse 2:
You always said that I would know someday
Just how it feels when your love walks away
I let you down I let you go
I lost you, how was I to know

(To chorus:)

Verse 3:
I never knew I could feel this way
I never could see past yesterday
You feel that everything is gone
I feel it too, you're not alone

The German pronoun "sie" can mean either "she" or "they," so I think this was just a translation problem.

Oh Beatlemad you asked a question...

I believe listening to this song that Jeff did most of this, by listening to the original Roy catalogue in his music brain, then writing the basics of the song as a new Orbisong would look like. Apart from the chorus the song is just like Roy would have done it.

There seems to be a story about George and Jeff doing the song and a tennis court where George was on, ABCKO knows I believe all about that.

Sure, somewhere it is noted as a "Harrison/Lynne/Petty/Orbisong" song but that is in my personal opinion (impo) just for the record.
