What would you like to hear on a George Anthology?
I would love to hear the demo's from Brainwashed and hopefully a handful of unheard Dylan covers. He did such a great job with Abandoned Love and If Not for You. Dozens of unreleased tracks would be good too but maybe that's a wish too far.

It could be done in a similiar fashion to the Beatles Anthology, start with any alternate or unused versions of Beatles songs he wrote, include alternate and unreleased studio recordings from his solo years, and also include the various live recordings from the years(Bangla Desh, Japan, 1974 tour, Prince's Trust and Carl Perkins Show) and finish it off with any demo, unreleased songs and what not from the Brainwashed sessions. Oh yeah, and don't forget the soundtrack songs he wrote for different movies. I'd buy that!

I think Deep Blue would be a nice inclusion. I also like Bob's suggestions above.

It would be nice to have George's more obscure tracks, singles and b-sides that weren't on any of his albums. Also demos and unreleased tracks such as Every Grain of Sand, Dehra Dhun Going Down to Golders Green etc. And yes, live stuff too. In fact anything really! :wink1:

Maybe it could include all those hours of home movies he made.

Outtakes, yeah of Beatle and solo recordings...it would also be nice if interviews were included.
I wish George had told more stories...George was a wonderful story teller and I would have loved to listen to him speak of his interesting life experiences. I think George was the most interesting of the Beatles.
