Of all the covers that the Beatles did, especially on their Live At The BBC?
If you have, how did the Beatles' versions differ from them?

Some of their covers were quite good, while others couldn't match up to the originals. Some of the good ones are; "Baby, It's You"; "Soldier Of Love"; "Rock And Roll Music" and "Dizzy Miss Lizzy".

Their version of You Really Got A Hold on me is a classic, even though the original is quite good.

You should really buy the Live At The BBC CD's - you can usually pick them up at ebay for a reasonable price. Unless you're rich, and then you can just buy them from the shop.

Well, I have the Live At the BBC. Those are the ones that made me love the Beatles in the first place. I was just wondering how the Little Richard types originals were.

Little Richard wrote the book. His versions are piano oriented and energy level through the roof. He is who Paul got the "scream" from. He was a heavy influence of the early/formative days of Beatles.
