I'll see how good the book is before I decided whether or not to buy it.

I got the book when it came out, but have yet to purchase the CD. If I can find it on vinyl, I'll get it both ways. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/grin.gif

I got the vinyl copy today, and I'm very impressed with it. It's just like the white album. It comes with 4 phychadelic pictures of the boys, and with a huge poster with every picture sleeve released.

I love it.

I wonder what's in the CD???

Well what comes with the CD pales in comparison to what you get with the vinyl copy. All that there is is just a little in-lay booklet with pictures of all the single covers. No flash posters or anything.

That's what I meant when I said I was going to check out the booklet before I decided whether or not I should get it. I won't be getting it for the booklet's sake, that's for sure.
bearkat: how do you have the book without the CD?? Did you take it out of the cover or something??

No problem, Lucy. Even us Beatle fans get our wires crossed from time to time. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

Get a load of this news:
Beatlemania is back again in the country where it all started more than 35 years ago. The Beatles' "1" compilation, released last week by Parlophone/EMI in the U.K., sold 319,000 copies in the U.K. to race to the top of the album chart. The figure is the highest first-week sales total of the year.
