Beatles Research Report...Help!

I'm not sure where this should be..so If it's in the wrong place...please move it.

I am doing a research report on The Beatles, but I can't think of what I want the subject to be about them, I don't want it to be about, "How the Beatles changed the world" because it's been done so many times, If anyone has any Ideas...feel free to post and help me out....

I don't think too many people who can help you will actually see this in the PW forum, Aubrey, so I'm going to move it to HT&E...though it is about the Beatles, it is also a general sort of question, and nearly everyone goes to that forum at least once a day, so you will probably get more answers there.

Instead of focussing on the band as a whole, focus on one particular aspect on them. Maybe talk about their Hamburg experience, or maybe how a particular LP was recorded. You could talk about their concerts or a part of Beatle history like the rooftop concert or the Jesus comments?

Way back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, I did a Beatles paper for college. I showed how they influenced other artists, such as Billy Joel, Raspberries, etc. I don't think you'll have much trouble finding artists who claim a Beatles influence!

I did such a paper, too. Mine was the Creative Process as reported by Paul... where the inspiration comes from and how it progesses to become a song. Good luck in finding a subject and be sure to share it with us, Beatlebabe, if you feel like sharing!

What about how the Beatles showed how they were Human by focussing on their human nature - i.e. their mistakes that showed the world that they weren't Gods or something. Things that come to mind are the Jesus comments, Apple (especially the boutique), Paul's admission of taking LSD...
