I read in the newspaper just after he died a tribute from John McEnro and he used to go up to Friar Park and have the odd game with him.

George has never posed au naturel like John & Yoko did.
George had the longest hair of the Beatles and he was the only Beatle who had wavy hair.
George came to San Francisco in August of 1967.
George wrote "Here Comes the Sun." He wrote a plethora of excellent songs.
George was true to his beliefs and to his talents.

George financed Monty Python's 3rd (IMO best) Movie Life of Brian and thus formed Handmade Films

It was George's idea for the Beatles 'Reunion' in the mid 1990s

The Traveling Wilburys was also one of George's Ideas

Until anthology George's favorite documentary of the Beatles was Eric Idle's The Rutles: All You Need Is Cash

And he didn't star in the movies he was involved in either.

George never skated in Chicago; he never owned a female basenji and used her for a breeding dog; he never lived in Oregon; he never danced on stage with Paul because Paul did not dance.

George never served time.

George was not fluent in Italian; he didn't eat steak and he had the best head of thick, wavy hair!

Another fact - George is the Beatle who is in the majority of racy threads. :wink1: The wavy haired wonder was rightfully getting winked at is right! :laugh5:

Yes I clearly remember reading somewhere (although I forget where) that George originally proposed it to the other living Fabs
