A beautiful end to a beautiful album. I can't think of a better way to end not only the album, but to Georges long, fruitful and downright amazing musical career!
God bless you George!

It's a great end to the album and also the Brainwashed song. It goes from being very angry to a soothing Indian chant.

It is VERY soothing indeed. When you feel stressed out, it is the ideal Rx.

It really is a real George song and to put it on the place of the album where it is..yes that was a good choise.
It has a variety of George things in it, heavy guitars..his amazing clear voice..the middle section which is the most spiritual part of the album.. and in the lyrics again George reminding us like in many other songs, about all the sad Ego minded things happening in the world to which he has rejected so long.. and then the last two minutes with Dhani which can bring tears to your eyes by it's beauty and which to me is a little view in to the private life where I am sure they have sat together chanting like that many times.

I want that ending to go and on. It is the sound of peace.

It's perfect. While I'm driving, even if I am unaware of the song playing, once I hear that chant, I find myself singing or mouthing along with it unknowingly. There is a great feeling of peace and strength in it. But I must admit, at times it makes my heart heavy.
It's a perfect ending.

I have done that using Nero. I chopped off the ending and copied it as many times as I can get it on a cd, made sure to take out the 2 second gap and burned it to a cd. It goes on and on.
I also like Sarve Shaam from Chants of India.
Lyrics Translation (from the cd booklet):
"May good befall all,
May there be peace for all,
May all be fit for perfection, and
May all experience that which is auspicious.
May all be happy, may all be healthy
May all experience what is good and let no one suffer."
With the passing of another Holy Man, Pope John Paul II, I am filled with longing for spiritual growth. I know George had problems with the Catholic faith, as sometimes do I, but it is what I was raised in and what I go back to when I need to. I wish more people could see how connected all the religions of the world really are and embrace it rather than try to splinter it. The details aren't THE important thing, God is, however you find Him.
