View Full Version : Which song best describes you?

Which song best describes you or your life? I think yesterday describes how I feel about a lot of things, and, well..........a lot of other songs describe how I feel from day to day. There is a beatles song for every mood!http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/frown.gif

Sometimes I feel like an outsider and "Nowhere Man" would describe me at that point. However, I consider myself a dreamer, so "Imagine" would be the song that fits me best.
"You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one."

I know I have gone over this many times, but a friend of mine 'named' me Penny Lane because he says the song reminds him of me. He says that the song is friendly, cheery, and when you listen to it too much, it becomes annoying. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif I suppose that We Can Work it Out works too right now...I am involved in a '4 way' fight with a few friends. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/frown.gif

Strawberry Fields, me to a tee, I am a little bit mad in the head, and always dreaming, and usually pretty happy too.
The song tells of how you are different at different times, and how it is all confucing at times, but you just go with it, and it all works out.

We're all "Nowhere Men," and I am definately a "Fool On The Hill." "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away" describes life lately, but the situation is more delicate & complex than that. About the teenage years: so far (I'm only 14) they've been short, reckless, fun, dangerous, and incredibly depressing. But I'm here & lovin' every minute! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif Four way fight, Penny? Strawberry Fields Forever & Nowhere Man are the best for right now. I'm the outsider in the pink pants going through another round of highschool.. But I'll get through it, which leads me to my all time theme song:

"I'm a Loser". Haha, just kidding! But I think a song that describes the way I feel would be "I Want to Tell You" off of Revolver, the best album ever, I really listened to the lyrics after George's passing, and they really got to me. Here I was thinking, "I want to tell you, I feel hung up and I don't know why!" and then George would say back to me "It's alright, I'll make you make me next time around... I could wait forever I've got time!" It really made me feel better!

I think that Imagine suits me a lot because I get very often sceptical about things and situations.I also have a great imagination...

Today, it would have to be "Real Love". See my post under "Random Thoughts V" for the reason.

Sometimes I think Revolution describes me, because I'm sort of rebellious, and I like to use revolutions to get peace. Face it: you can't always get peace the easy way. Think of George Washington and John Lennon.

Hmmm, probably " If I Fell ." Not only do I absolutely ADORE that song, but it does actually describe how I am very cautious about my relationships with people.

graemlins/thinker.gif *The Beatle Song that best discribes me, hmm, let me think! Been told I have a loving heart, and I'm a very caring person, so "I FEEL FINE" meanin they are singing about me, since I'm a careing person with a good heart! I wish they were singing about me, but, when I was a kid, it made me feel like they were! graemlins/thumbsup1.gif

A lot of the time for me it's "Mother Nature's Son"..although I saw a lot of you listed that as one of your most hated Beatles songs. I do a lot of biking, and sometimes I just get caught up in looking at how beautiful my surroudings are. I love the images the song creates:"swaying daises sing a lazy song beneath the sun." It's just a feel-good song for me.

Hmm... Let's see: "The Fool on the Hill," "Nowhere (wo)Man," and "I'm Only Sleeping." And "Revolution 9" because I'm wacked out like that. My friends always say "I Am the Walrus." "It's All Too Much" fits nicely, too.

I think that "Dear Prudence" describes me perfectly. In school I can never loosen up because I think I'll get in trouble, while everyone else just wants me to "come out and play." graemlins/cry1.gif *I'm so interesting...I know..lol graemlins/laugh5.gif I'm also totally spaced out like the song "Tomorrow Never Knows" thus my user name. images/icons/wink.gif
