Any fans out here? He was an amazing and inspirational fellow.
This is a nice website on Ode to Joy, my favorite. It reminds me of a buddie who could sing out all the words, which greatly impressed me!

Beethoven forever! I love his music!! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/music1.gif We recently listened to his first violine-concert at school and talked a lot about it (I go to a kind of "grammar school with special musical edducation" http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif) What a wonderful tune! Does anyone know it?

I love Beethoven. I think it's because I had a crush on Schroeder when I was little. Ha. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Definitely, Beethoven is my favourite composer of all time.

He perfectly blended strenght, daintiness, passion, character, tragedy, originality, and rebelliousness, both in his life and music.

In my view, he composed the most assorted music of his time. He has gems such as "For Elise", "Pathetique Sonata", and "Moonlight Sonata", but also very powerful music as the 9th and 5th Symphonies.

His life was also worthy both of admiration and pity. He was a tragic character, but also the epitome of passion and talent.

That's it.

Beethoven was an amazing composer... how he did all that..

I sometimes see him as a previous Beatle..just how he was...the things he wrote... timeless melodies...like the 5th turning up as a theme in the past 3 decades in different versions...Rock...Disco.... After-Disco ( this "long haired lover from Liverpool" on a bike in New York)

His symphonies are so beautiful..

Or you could say the Beatles were later Beethovens.
