I know!!! This is what I lovingly refer to as the Paul "duh" face.... when he's concentrating really hard on something. In some other pics it's that his mind is off somewhere else too. But yea... I'm definitely a big fan of the duh face. Such a hottie!!!!!

what is Blackpool rock? we have rock candy here in the states, it's clear, like small chunks of ice all stuck together....

erm, it's hard to describe...it's pure sugar really. They melt the sugar and it goes all soft and gooey and then they roll a few colours together to make a big multi-coloured sausage (and I mean a BIIIIG industrial-size jobbie) and stretch it so the sausage is mega-long but only about 2cm in diameter. Then they cut it into sticks 30cm long and sell it (I saw the process on Pippin when I was little) in polythene wrappers twisted at the end which gets really sticky after you've been sucking on the rock for a while. They often put writing down the middle, e.g. ' Blackpool Pleasure Beach', but I don't know how they manage that. It's not officially called Blackpool Rock, but that's what everyone calls it becaus they sell it everywhere in Blackpool and everyone comes home with at least one stick.
Woah that was long! Hope it's a good explanation, I might try to find a website that explains it a bit better. It's so hard to explain something like Blackoll Rock.

Actually, that is George's Rickenbacker 425. He purchased it when he visited his sister Louise in Benton, Ill. in 1963. George didn't use it very often, but you can see it in a Ready, Steady, Go! performance.
