I love Christmas songs, but I'm starting to get sick of 'em.

Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time
Happy Xmas - War is over
Ringo's version of Ruldolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (haha)

Christmas In America
O Holy Night

After that it's mainly the traditional Christmas songs.

Ya know, I can't remember hearing this one. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush4.gif Sounds cool though. My favorite is Tom Petty's It's Christmas All Over Again? Especially the line about the long distance relatives "Yeah I missed 'em, I just don't wanna kiss 'em" http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif I can relate to that. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh5.gif

I'm sorry, ChrisG! I forgot you're not a Tom Petty fan! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif

I wanted to put Wham's "Last Christmas", but it's a sad song...

Maybe I'll go with Band Aid's "Do They Know it's Christmas". And for the Tradicionals:

"Silent Night", that makes me cry,
"Rudolph the Reindeer", so cute if sung by the Chipmunks,
also by the Chipmunks- "The Christmas Song"... and many more...

I only can stand to listen to one single Christmas tune. Call me a "grinch" if you want; but I cannot stand Christmas songs. They have been playing them since November 25th. Since when is Christmas a month long?!?

I love Wonderful Christmastime by Macca, and that is all. They don't play that one to death here on the radios.

Ditto...although they have been playing Wonderful Christmastime a bit much lately( I heard it 4 times this weekend), it seems department stores love that song...also some crappy teenage girl group did a cover of it that I heard at the pharmacy yesterday!

I like almost all of the traditional Christmas carols except "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear" (ok, if you like it, I had to teach it to a group of 6 year olds to sing in a Christmas pageant at church when I was 18. Think of the words. They didn't understand a single word of it. It was a NIGHTMARE!)...but I dislike almost all pop Christmas music. If I have to listen to that horrible warbling chick singing "This Chriss-MUUUUS will be, a very special Chrisss-MUSSSSS for MMMMMEEEEE" one more time, I cannot be held responsible for my actions. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
