Cooper Owen's Annual Beatles Auction takes place online on the 8th December at www.cooperowen.com (http://www.cooperowen.com) and eBay.

Included in the auction:

A wide range of AUTOGRAPHS - of both the group and individual members - rare recordings, merchandising, candid photographs, posters, limited edition artwork and more.

A highlight of the sale is an extremely rare ELECTRIC APPLE designed by Magic Alex for the short-lived Apple Electronics Company, rare Apple products including watches, a mirror and trinket box. An interesting original contract for the Beatles Star Club recordings and an acetate featuring extracts from the same recording is also included. Other lots of interest include an Alan Aldridge limited edition Nowhere Man sculpture and a rare Azena Ballroom poster.

Commission/absentee bids for this auction can be placed online at www.cooperowen.com (http://www.cooperowen.com)

Real-time bidding will be available via www.ebayliveauctions.com (http://www.ebayliveauctions.com)

I agree to an extent. I know they've done it because Dec 8th is a big Beatle day, but for all the wrong reasons. Oct 9th would have been much more appropiate IMO.
