I'm a bit bored with the current music scene and am looking for some inspiration for you lot! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Can you suggest any bands current or old that I can check out until something new comes along to excite me?
My favourite artists are : (excluding Beatles) Dylan, Wilburys, Beach Boys.
Thanks.

The Who never fail to fascinate me. Also, if you like the Beatles, you could do worse than check out the Kinks: dare I say it, for a brief period Ray Davies more than equalled the talents of both Lennon and McCartney...

You should try listening to The Cure. They are great. Robert Smith has a really unique and funny voice.

Go with The Doors, Who and Interpol, it's a new band but is better than some mainstream music over there.

T. Rex and Marc Bolan (1966-1973) and the Kinks (1964-1970) create the only music that could ever rival the Beatles. It's transcendant.

The Sex Pistols, The Creation, Donovan, Queen, Jimi Hendrix, Cat Stevens, and The Who also rock hard.

Yes, it will take you somewhere you've never been musically.

If you like the Beach Boys, you would like Brian Wilson solo music. He has 3 (all good) cds out, plus the newly recorded Smile.
