I'm afraid I can't help you with t-rex albums, hopefully others can. FYI for the future, posts asking about musicians other than the Beatles belong in the Not Only A Northern Song forum... http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I love T Rex http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif

There are many albums and compilations out there, and I think that one would only listen to them when they know them and therefore will know their major hits... mm hehe does this make sense http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif but well

Hot Love
Jeepster
Metal Guru
Get It On
Ride A Black Swan
Children Of The Revolution
..........

forgotten anyone?

20th Century Boy would be the obvious one for me but T Rex/Marc Bolan are a band that I know many of the songs but couldn't tell you the names of any albums I'm afraid.

Well, okay, personally, I started by working backwards. "Dandy In The Underworld" is actually really good . . . "Futuristic Dragon", not so much. "New York City" and "London Boys" are awesome, though. It depends how much money you're willing to spend. If you have a lot, I would reccomend doing what I did, buying them in reverse chronological order (because it's just more fun that way). If you'd rather not shell out 24.oo USD a pop for them, I'd reccomend The Slider. But you'd be missing all the scattered gems on the later ones.

Oh Boy, I enjoy T.Rex to the hilt! What can I help you with here? I have a copy of each of their CDs. Electric Warrior and The Slider are classic T.Rex. Latter day good ones are Dandy In The Underworld and Zink Alloy. If you need a good compilation try 20th Century Boy: The Ultimate Collection on Hip-O records. It has all of the hits and a few really good album tracks and B Sides. I love to play this one in the car and crank it up loud!!
