I always liked Crowded House, and Split Enz. So something new by the Finn brothers could be worthwhile. I probably will buy it some day.

I also love a lot of what the Finn Brothers did as of Splitt Enz to this new album and they are very Beatles-ish in their songs I believe.

Right now I am actually playing their new song "Won't Give In"... well add a slide guitar and the famous Jeff Lynne piano picking and think of Ringo doing the drums on this and you have a Wilbury record.

I used to love Crowded House and especially their Woodface album. I saw Neil in concert a couple of years ago and he was pretty good, although his solo stuff didn't match the quality of CH.
The new album is a return to form for me but whether he needs his brother with him is debatable.They all sound like Neil songs with the exception of a couple and he does lead vocals on the majority.But thats me just being picky I guess.
They are doing a UK tour soon so I might try and catch them!

Its been 10 years since they have done anything together. They both live in New Zealand now. The lyrics on the album are very family orientated. They are writing better than ever now. The comparison to the Beatles has always been there. I think Paul is a fan because he invited Neil Finn to play at the tribute to Linda concert a few years back. Hows that? That would be the ultimate.
