I thought to combine a game with some facts about George's music.Instruments he used, people he played with, songs etc.
The way it works is someone gives a vague description of something or someone, you have to find out what or who it is, and how it is conected to George.
Easy example not to be used afterwards: Slowhand.
Answer, Eric Clapton played on George's song "While My Guitar Gently Weeps". The person with the right answer post a new description. I start.

Dutch guitar...George's first was a Dutch guitar, and Egmond, bought by his Dad for 3.5 pounds, sold at auction last year for more than 276,000!
'A bit depressing, actually' George refered to this as. It partially is influenced by wild life in L.A. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Now you're making it to easy http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif I should have known it before, but with this nice warm weather my brain and the rest of me are a bit slow.
The anser would be "See Yourself", be back with a new description later.

Hope it doesn't turn out to be to dificult, but with the right source there should be no problem getting the answers.

Soprano Sex, oops Sax http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
the man who plays it is Jim Horn ("that is really his name", as George would say) there are many stories behind the horn.. but since you were so nice to move from toilet to book, I know it and it's a nice story to read again
Jim said - George made you feel at home in his home, and I'd see him at breakfast, discuss the day's news, have tea in the garden and go up to his studio whenever we felt like working. He once had me sit on the toilet and play my soprano sax, and they miked it at the end of the hall for a distant sound and I thought they were kidding - we all had a good laugh on that one. Another time he stopped me in the middle of a sax solo and brought my 3pm tea - again I thought he was kidding http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
That's the story.
Oh I wish I had a story like that... amazing. Well I can take my guitar, play on the toilet and imagine I am being recorded at 'me' http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I will pick up the next one.

Still thinking about it, is it Pale as the football player or Pale in the sense of A Whiter Shade of Pale?
In the meanwhile I'll post an easy one, Since I posted this topic I am the only one who can do this.
I am looking for a singer, you can call him by another name.
Perhaps not so easy, but when I told that name everyone would know.

Vicki Brown, but if that's true, the boxset including "Shanghai Surprise" came out this year, not last year.

I know! It's Cilla Black...who released last year a re-recording of "I'll Still Love You" (as a bonus track on a box set). She rerecorded it in 1975 because the original she made with George (early 70's) was lost.
Yes? Yes?

Yes, that's who I was thinking of (Black - Brown? Dark??) though I was under the impression that she and George first attempted to record the song in 1972, finished it 10 years later, then last year it was finally released on the box-set. Well done any though, Hari's Chick! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup2.gif
