Hi there! I will be submitting the following piece of mine, Fallen Comrades, into the Beatlefest/Fest for Beatles Fans Art Contest in two weeks:
http://www.angelfire.com/art2/kristinturberville/ART0003/unfinished5c.jpg
The painting is not fully completed yet, but it will be, within the next week. If you are planning to attend the Fest, I'm asking for your support. Fest attendees are the "judges" for this contest. Everyone has the chance to vote by ballot for their favorite three pieces, and you are allowed to vote as many times as you like over the three days. If you think Fallen Comrades deserves to place in it's category (Amateur), please vote for it. I'd be eternally thankful!

(Finished painting can be seen further down the page.)

Just from what you have already done, I'd definitely award you the blue ribbon for first place.

Sensational painting. Maybe you can let us see it when it's finished. Well done and hope you win.

The faces are completely finished now (big improvement). All I've got to do now are the jackets. graemlins/teeth1.gif

You do beautiful art, I saw the other one you did and I don't usually like paintings of them that I see but yours are definetly paying very good attention to the detail of thier faces, especially John. graemlins/smile2.gif
So therefore you must be a beautiful person, so I think you'll get much acclaim.

1st place for you! Guten lucken! graemlins/wink3.gif

It's finally finished! Here's a rough picture of it (the digital was dying...didn't have time to fix the lighting, etc...):

It's hard to tell the difference from these pics, but trust me...it's come a long way. graemlins/teeth1.gif

L4,
You are a truly gifted artist. It would be an honor to hang a framed copy of this work on the wall.
