Okay, here's one for the appraisers of "This Old Beatle House". images/icons/wink.gif

I have an original Sgt. Pepper, issued in 1967. Mint condition. The outstanding thing, tho, is that even though it's a stereo mix, it's a TOTALLY DIFFERENT mix from what we've come to know as "Pepper" from the re-releases or CD releases. The key element to note is that, during the "Reprise" song, at the very end, you can clearly hear Macca shout out a LOT of stuff (unintelligible). This has been either omitted or toned down in subsequent re-releases of the "Pepper" album I have been lucky to hear or own.

Any comments? Suggestions?

I have that version as well. Growing up listening to it, I really missed the Paul yelling at the end of Reprise when the cd came out. It's barely audible on the cd. I think it's a great part of the song and was a poor choice for editing down the part in the mix.
I mentioned it in a topic once before but nobody seemed to know about it.
Good to know I'm not crazy after all. graemlins/wink1.gif
