got a question for The Beatles experts out there,
today I recieved a book that I had purchased on Ebay the week before last. This is a book I once owned but since has been misplaced.
I was excited to have found it on Ebay for a good price only to discover it has a major priting error. The book is called The Beatles by Times Book/Rollingstone 1980 hardcover by Andy Warhal. The book goes to page 6 and then jumps to 23-38 and then it goes back to 23-38 it does this 16 times through the whole book ending with page 38.
I was just wondering if it's ever been noted of the book having this priting error?
and does it have any value to it?
please help?

i have the paperback copy of this, but no glaring errors, (complete pages 1 - 245). was your first one like that also? dosen't sound like a fun read, and this is a wonderful book!
i have no idea of it's worth tho.
sounds like the printer was hopped up on something, eh?

actually my fist copy was fine it had all the right pages that's why I was so excitied to have found it again. It was one of my favorite Beatles books when I was back in High School.
I imagine the're probably arent' a lot of the misprinted copies floting around. I sure most of them probably didn't get out to the general public.

The value of the book depends greatly on its popularity within the Beatle-reading community.

Personally, I've never heard of this book, but that doesn't mean anything. More to the point, I've never heard of any Beatle book to contain such a severe printing error.

I seriously couldn't put a realistic price on this item because I've never seen anything like it sell at auction. If the error is unique then I'm sure there would be some people who would pay for the novelty.

I don't think it'd sell well to a person who would be buying it to read. images/icons/wink.gif

thanks for the information, I wouldn't ever sell it someone without the mention of the error, like the person who sold it to me. It never stated on the auction that there was anything unormal about it. I was so excited when I first got it until I opened it and saw the error. I was looking forward to reading it again as I once did years ago. This is what the book looks like
