Beatle 45's

I have a few that I wanted to know about. The unfortunate part about this story is I took all the picture sleeves and put them in a box back in the early 70's. When I moved out and my parents sold their house a year later, the box was thrown out by mistake. It was in our attic and I left it there thinking I would go back and get it at the right time. I had every picture sleeve released by Capitol. What a shame! I have the single Ticket To Ride, that say's "from the movie "Eight Arms To Hold You". I know the story about how that was the original title of the movie and some of the 45's were pressed with the wrong title. Just wondered how much this is worth? I may have another single with the same wrong movie title on the label, but I'll have to check.

i dug thru my 2000 copy of 'goldmine; the beatles digest', and it is not listed in there, but i know it is worth a pretty penny! (it has all the other variations of the 45's!).
also i think the other 45 w/ the eight arms thingy is 'help!'. . . tho that is not listed either.
besides that, i find this book a fairly good ref for getting an idea what my collection is worth, (not that it will ever leave my grimy lil paws. . . )

I've heard about this variant and from what I remember, I don't think that it's worth much more than the standard pressing due to a large initial batch being pressed (since I can't verify this though, I could be wrong).

The picture sleeve is valued at approximately $75-$100 (mint condition)

try some of the places that seem to do alot in the music area like rick rann check more than one place to see what they tell you. alot depends on condition and all good luck
