SensualNJ, I'm not sure why you continue to post this same topic every time a Beatles convention nears. Everyone of your posts have been nothing but this. Are you actually going to participate in these forums like the rest of us or just continue to posts a want ad?

Is there a restriction to this forum as to how many min or max posts and as to what subject matter ? And it is not EVERY TIME there is Beatlefest. All my posts were related to this particular upcoming Beatlefest and the possibility of sharing a room with other LIKE BEATLE FANS.. nothing more, nothing less.

Sensual, we've had quite a few people register on this site who try to use it as nothing more than free space for a classified ad. It's not so much that there's a maximum number of posts you can have about this topic; it's that all of your posts so far have been about sharing this room at this fest. We really like to see our members participating in the forum by discussing things of general interest. There are hundreds of other topics here; most are about the Beatles, but there are quite a few on other topics as well. Surely if you browse through them, you'll find something of interest. So won't you join us, hook up, and otherwise co-mingle? images/icons/smile.gif

graemlins/kiss1.gif *Thanks! Perhaps I don't have as much time as the rest of you, however, I have on occassion read many posts since I have joined. I do not believe in posting just chit-chat as some people do and I only post if there is something I feel of interest. In this particular case, the rooms sold out in 20 min at the Crown Plaza for Beatlefest in Sept 2002 and I have been 3rd on the waiting list since last Sept. I just got a call this past w/end that due to a few cancellations I was now able to secure a room. Since they are hard to come by I thought why not offer to share here with those of like mind. The room has two double beds btw...LOL I'm certainly taking a chance offering to share with complete strangers but I have never found a Beatlefan I didn't like.
And the "after" hour fun is not to be missed for those of you who have never been to the fest.
Hey,,,I only 20 min away and I'm renting a room!

p.s. For those of you who listened to Harry Harrison's show on WCBS FM in the morning (the morning mayor) he just did his last show in NYC
on March 19, 2003. I attended this event at the Museum of TV and Radio in NYC, along with Don K Reed, Bobby Jay, Phil Pepe, Mr. "G"... (yes this is "off" topic).
And for an "on" topic Ringo will be in NYC tomorrow signing his new CD at FYE store at 7pm.
