Kristin, I've been meaning to email you my address but things got a bit sidetracked this last week. I did read the email you send me with your address. I guess that's where I send the money. graemlins/wink3.gif
When I have sent it your way, I'll email you so you'll be on the lookout graemlins/lookaround.gif for it.

For those of you wishing to buy a print, but not wanting to pay the $30.00 (which, I understand completely, being a college student), I'm selling them on eBay, as well. You can always take your chances at getting one for about $10.00. The easiest way to find one would be to view my Seller List (http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=lennonartist&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=25). My eBay name is "lennonartist." Hope that helps some of you out (I try not to be unreasonable)! graemlins/teeth1.gif

Kristin, I had a couple of matters to clear up last week, but I was able to get a check in the mail to you today. You should have it in 2-3 days. I'm really excited about getting this print. You are a truly gifted artist.

Kat-
Alright! When I'm famous, you'll be down in the trivia books as the first person to purchase a print! lol...maybe it'll catch on to some other people, too. graemlins/teeth1.gif Thanks again, and I'll let you know when it arrives.
-lennon4
PS- Depending on when it arrives, I may not beable to ship the print until next week. I will be in NYC Thursday and at the fest over the weekend.

Kristin, I got my "Striking Hamburg" in the mail today. It is really awesome! Thank you for sending it. Now I've got to get a frame for it so I can hang it in the computer room. That way John is always watching me when I'm here at Beatlelinks. images/icons/smile.gif
P.S. If something ever happens to you, God forbid, can I have the original? graemlins/wink3.gif

hi there kristin
I hate to be the mob squad on your selling, but can't you get into trouble by selling a paiting of a picture. Its infriging on copyright laws. its different if you make your own pose or picture of lennon such as the one you have on your wall with lennon in leather with the orange backround which is done by another artist or even that cupism one you did in because it doesn't copy a picture. . i just dont want you to get into trouble . thats all.. as a matter of fact a lawsuit happen were the photographer sued a painter because it copied his picture of john sleeping. love roger

I asked about 20 experts about this and they all gave me the okay. You're the first one to say otherwise. So I say to you -- where are your sources? I'll check them out if your produce them.
-lennon4
PS- If you look closely at the picture, you'll see that I'm not a good enough artist to copy it exactly. Personally, I think John looks a bit dopey (as in stupid, not on drugs) in the original, so I made him look how I wanted him to look. What's your expert advice on that?

hey look kristin,
I didn't mean to sound mean or anything or like spiteful i just don't want some lawyer or who the fuck ever to get all on your case. but seriously though. someone did get sued for painting john lennon sleeping while he was holding a ciggarette. and the photographer won. or atleast the painter had to not be able to sell the painting and only show it. I am not trying to be mean. seriously i think you are a great artist. I also love that cupism one you did too. I would defintly buy that one. love Roger.
ps. My uncle got two tickets to see ringo in atlantic city in aug. 2 , front row too ,and I am going with him and his wife. i truly feel complete now. images/icons/smile.gif call me sometime geez . I always feel that i have to call you in order to talk .

Well, our local street fair came and went -- complete with wind and rain. I was able to get there for the last two hours and managed to sell a total of TWO whole prints (at a discount prince, no less). Oh well, I guess it's better than selling no prints at all. It'll sell better at Beatlefest, I'm hoping.

Just another reminder to those of you attending this month's Fest for Beatles Fans (aka Beatlefest):
I will be sharing a table with Susan & friends in the London Room (the room downstairs where all the guests are located...between the marketplace and art contest room). Even if you don't want a print, PLEASE stop by and say 'hello'...I'd love to meet you.
But, if you do want a print, I will be selling them for $15.00 (half the original price). I'll be there to sign and personalize them for you as well.
And, as always, I will be competing in the art contest. Please check out my topic, here: Asking for your VOTE in the Beatlefest Art Contest....(please) (http://www.beatlelinks.net/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=19&t=000084).
Thanks, and hope to see you at the Fest! graemlins/teeth1.gif
