I have a Paul McCartney statue from his Beatles days. It was made by ESCO Productions in 1984.
It is all painted cermic, and weighs about 8 pounds. It stands about 17" tall.
Any idea what it is worth?

It really depends on whether it's an official Beatles product. Does it have any identifications as to whether it's been endorsed by a Beatles related company like EMI or Apple?
If it's unofficial then it could affect the value.
Any chance of a picture? images/icons/smile.gif

Nope. No Apple or any other kind of authentication.
I have a picture, but I'll look into how to attach it to a post on BeatleLinks. I'll post it as soon as I can.
Thanks!

American Beatle..I hope you have better luck finding out about your statue of Paul than I have of finding out info on the bust I have of John. Mine was also made by ESCO(they are no longer in business)mine was made in 1980 by Neal Martz and I've come up with absolutely no info and I've contacted all kinds of Beatle collectors in the US and England. If you have any luck, please let me know.
Thanks, Barb

Barb, have you tried to get in touch with Neal Martz, himself? Maybe he will have some info you need.

Bearkat, from my findings Neal Martz is a hollywood makeup artist(he's done Swamp Thing)and I was given the email to contact him through his union, but they couldn't help me, and I feel like I've hit a brick wall. Perry Cox also couldnt help me, seems its one he hasn't seen either. John looks like he did on the Let It Be album and his glasses are removable. I only paid $50.00 for it at a small collectible place(they had no info on it either) but after a week of owning it, I was offered $1000.00 for it through a phone call. The phone call shocked me so, that I didn't think to ask the caller if he knew of any info on it, as I was not interested in selling it.
If anyone ever finds out anything about it I would really appreciate any help I could get.

I've done some snooping on E-bay and it looks as though this statue would sell from between $130 and $180.
As far as the 1980 Let It Be John Lennon, PowderPuff, I haven't seen anything like it on E-Bay or anywhere. With that said, and I am no expert, but I would assume that it is much more valuable than my 1984 statue of a 1964 Paul McCartney. Then again, I haven't seen many Paul statues either. . .only John, George and Ringo (of the 1984 version).
Both, it would appear, should be keepers as they should only increase in value as the years go by. Although, I must admit that my statue would not sell for anywhere close to $1000.
