Heres a little something I just wanted to share with y'all. I am so happy and yet so sad at the same time. (Its very confusing). I met this fella. His name's Jim. He looks just like George when he was about 20, although its the stones that is Jim's passion. He's quite perfect (at least for me) and one of those people you can be comfatable with and tell all your secrets. We've been together since March, but Jim was a student here and now he's graduated and moved away. Now, originally, he stated that when this happened then we, as a 'we' would cease to be, but through a battle of minds and an exhausting emotional roller coaster, I have managed to change his mind and now, although he's been gone a week, we are still a 'we' and carrying on in the same viwn we were but at a distance. Needless to say, I'm missing him terribly. Ironically, where he's living now, no one wants him there, yet here am I who wants and loves him but I am not with him. (Physically anyway).

Close your eyes and I'll kiss you,

I'll write home every day
and send all my loving to you.

Eugene and I are veterans of long-distance relationships; most of our thirteen years "together" have actually been spent apart due to grad school or jobs. Now that I'm in the Chicago area, we get to spend more time together, though we still don't see each other every day. We were fortunate in that we'd already forged a strong relationship in undergrad before we graduated. A long-distance relationship requires a lot of trust and commitment; I wish you and Jim the best. graemlins/inlove3.gif
