I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet. Grand Jury indicts Martha Stewart. (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&cid=568&u=/nm/media_marthastewart_dc&ncid=) All I can say is, would they be doing this if her name was John instead of Martha?

I'm sure she'll be knitting some fabulous tea cozies in prison.

Her jail cell will be the neatest of all.

Just because she's indicted doesn't mean she'll serve the time. Her lawyers will do anything to stop that.

I wonder if what kind of potpourri she'll make out of ciggie butts. Hmmmm.. graemlins/thinker.gif Stay tuned. Next week on Martha Stewart, Cell Block B.

It's funny, when I logged on earlier, they have this scary picture of her, looking like an old hag, on the AOL main page. It's like, Oooooh! Cover the wee ones eyes! QUICK! graemlins/afraid5.gif

If someone told you that your stock was going to crash, wouldn't you sell it? Anybody would.
I think she's in a lot of trouble for covering up and lying to the feds.
If convicted, she'll get more of a sentence for that.

I think something's wrong with this. I mean, the Enron SOBs sold their stock, and caused a big scandal yet they're not getting punished. Yes Martha was greedy but I feel she's being singled out because she's a woman, and a very successful one. Men don't like successful women.

Martha aint goin down. She aint goin to prison. A man in her position wouldnt go to prison either. this is THE WHITE BOYS CLUB Brandy&cigars (the stock market that is)Why be happy if shes convicted? What purpose will it serve? Negative karma man.
