Their Mommy held them for the 1st time last night, their grandfather(my best friend's brother)
said he couldn't tell what was blamket and what was baby when he got to hold Megan (the 2.14lbs), thanks for your thoughts and prayers all... the family thanks you too:heart2:

My best friends niece had baby girls a month early(2 days ago),one was in distress, so they delivered them
a month early, the little darlings are in the New Born ICU, Megan 2lbs.14 & her big sister Emiline
4lbs.6, put in a good word with the man upstairs
for these 2 little girls...

I just wanted to let you know I went though something similar.
My niece was only 3lbs 8 when she was born she was born 2 months early. My sister-inlaw had developed an infection and the baby had to be delivered. She spent a little over a month in the ICU, that was 4 years ago. Tomorrow my family is going to celebrate her 4th birthday.

The girls are so lucky to have all these wonderful people pulling for them,in addition to the love of their family and friends, they are still holding their own at present, bet the little one of the two is going to be something!

The weee little ones are holding their own, talked to their Mommy, she said they are gaining a little weight, a little jaundiced right now, but they are working on fixing that right up, the family sends their their thanks for all your kind thoughts and prayers

My friends brother was also born 1 month premature, he is now a six foot soldier with 2 little bundles of joy himself. My prayers are with the twins and their family, everything will be fine I am sure. graemlins/angel2.gif

Emiline came home yesterday, I guess she maintained her weight and I do know from working in a premie nursery, the babies can come home at 4lbs; her little sister Megan is still in the NBICU.. talked to Emiline's grandfather tonight, he said she was sleeping or he would put her on the phone to say Hi.. humor is a good thing.. again thanks from the family and myself for your words of encouragement..
