Magill's day

And today, the 16th, is her BIRTHDAY

Actually, it's today, the 16th...

To my dear friend Nancy, not only is today your birthday (BTW, welcome to the 40's club, "ma'am"--sorry, payback for calling me "old timer" on my birthday--j/k! graemlins/wink3.gif ), but it was exactly one year ago today that I sent my very first email to you to wish you a happy birthday ('cause you had casually mentioned that fact in a post you made at hollywoodandvine.com) and I invited you to "email me sometime 'cause my inbox is pretty empty these days". Well, you did the very next day and we soon became fast friends.

After emailing each other almost daily (cracking each other up in the process--you got some sense of humor there, Magill!!), we finally met face to face 2 months later over lunch. I thought you were very charming and witty and as I got to know you better, I was amazed by how much we had in common. It was like we had found a kindred spirit in each other. graemlins/inlove3.gif

One year later, we can still crack each other up--God knows I've done enough "spit takes" reading your emails and posts here to prove it!! graemlins/laugh2.gif I still consider you to be one of my closest and dearest friends and I am eternally grateful that our paths have crossed. You are indeed one in a million, Nancy, and I wish you nothing but the best on your special day (and I can't wait to give you your present 2 weeks from today)!!
