I am getting sick of all the "patriots" who insist that the careers of those who oppose the war in Iraq should have their careers ruined and in effect have a blacklist that only "pro-American,pro-President,pro-soldier" (i.e. right-wing) celebrities should be permitted to work.
I used to dislike Madonna, but seeing all the crap thrown at her by site like probush.com or gijargon.com, I have tons of respect for her now.

Whatever has happened to the freedom of speech?

You can still love your country and disagree with the president's policies. I can only hope this goes on, regardless of the McCarthy spirit running around the spot.

Isn't this a free country last time I checked? If so, then shouldn't celebrities have the right to have an opinion? I may hate the opinions of Sean Penn, Robert Redford, and Susan Sarandon but blacklisting them and other actors is just wrong. It was so easy to pick on the actors back in the Mccarthy era and it's easy to pick on them now. Sad, sad, sad.
