Has this happened to anyone else? On Saturday, I went to watch ABP and TV Land (channel 73 here in the Chicagoland area) was gone! There was nothing but a blue screen. When I tuned in to watch The Brady Bunch at 7 that night, TV Land was back on. I've been noticing, when watching the first episode of Happy Days at 3, at exactly 10 minutes after 3, the picture looks funny with squares and lines and then the channel is out. Yesterday, it was out for twenty minutes. Today, it went out at the same time (3:10), but is still out now. The rest of our cable channels work fine. TV Land is the only channel going in and out. I don't know why it always goes out in the afternoon during Happy Days. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Is it the TV Land network itself that this is happening, or the cable? After several days of having the channel go off and on, it's getting frustrating. I'm missing my favorite TV shows! I tried to e-mail TV Land, but in their FAQ, they tell you to contact your cable company first. I don't think it's a cable problem, if only one channel's out.

I think you'd need to contact the cable company anyways. They get it from satellite and de-scramble it to send out. Probably, they are at fault, even though it is only one station. Hope this helps...everyone needs Fonzie!

I watch TV Land constantly, whenever I get a chance (BTW, you have good taste) right now I'm watching the end of Happy Days. I've had no problems with my channel.

Sounds like your cable company has a problem right at that point with the feed. Mine does that a lot.... images/icons/frown.gif

Well, after several days of this happening, today TV Land did not go out on me. If it had, I would've called the cable company and gave them hell. Hopefully, everything will be fine now. Maybe other people called in and complained. BTW, ABP stands for Archie Bunker's Place.
