Deniro, simply due to the fact I like more of the movies he has done.

I couldn't pick. I think they're both awesome actors! Although, Robert DeNiro is exellent at comedy (Meets the Parents; just hilarious! images/icons/grin.gif and Analyse This). I've never seen Pacino do comedy. Maybe he has and I've just missed it.

While both men are certainly 2 of the greatest actors of our time (along with Jack Nicholson), I gave the nod to DeNiro (he was also excellent in "The King of Comedy", "The Deer Hunter", "Goodfellas", "Casino", "Taxi Driver", and of course, "Raging Bull"). graemlins/thumbsup1.gif

lol! I just found this...Ok...my choice is DEFINITELY Al Pacino. I think the man is just beautiful. And that's the shallow half of my reasoning. He's intense, passionate, very emotional. And I think he can be quite funny when he wants.

But I love Bobby too! images/icons/wink.gif

Deniro by far.
Pacino is great also but tends to overact sometimes.

De Niro.

You Maya, made me hate Pacino since you went to the Helpgame saying "Ooh haa " all the time.

I voted Al - but if anonymity is the sign of a great actor, it's Bob...

Just wanted to say,I saw this on the news some time ago...and it made me think of Paul and Heather and their upcoming baby (although I'm sure some peeps may not enjoy this topic, I just wanted to comment-positively of course.) On the topic of these two men...

I am going to guess that Deniro is over 60, I have no idea how old Pacino is...anyone? He can't be too young of course because he was in those films back in the 70s...but anyway, both these guys have really young kids. And I was reading that Al has twins that were born in 2000. So, they certainly have approached the attitude that you can be any age and have kids (well, men atleast)- and apparantly they've got older kids as well. Just wanted to comment about that. Paulie will be in that circle as well. images/icons/smile.gif Awww...

OK, you can continue voting. That had nothing to do with their acting, but it crossed my mind when I looked over this thread again.

ohh, I can't pick one on this one, I think they are equally talented, I love them both, but maybe Deniro, his roles are a little more varied graemlins/thinker.gif

Not that I'm chastising anyone here...my dad was no actor or musician, and he was certainly a bit old when I was born. Just saying...it 'aint no new attitude. Been going on since...shit, look at Charlie Chaplin! Well, when he was alive.

I guess I'm going to go with Al Pacino because he played Satan so well in "The Devil's Advocate." graemlins/devil5.gif Oooohhh that was good. But other than that, I don't really care for their loud, aggresive characters most of the time (I know not all of the time), and really can't be bothered with either of them.
