Mine is the original flavored candy cane. Not those fruit flavored ones.

I know you can usually find these throughout the year, but at Christmas we usually got the strawberry filled hard candies (wrapped in strawberry patterned paper.)

LOL I should print out my list and give it to my students so they know what kind of candy to buy me for Xmas:
-Frango Mints
-Peppermint patties
-Fannie May Trinidads

I know they're not candy, but I love gingerbread men. graemlins/drool.gif

I like the fruit flavored candy canes but I mostly enjoy the cookie end of the holiday sweets spectrum.

Those chocolate oranges are very good. Ya know, the ones you hit on the floor. And the old fashioned hard cardies are good. They remind me of the old days. Growing up, Almond Roca was a holiday treat for us, even though the filled tin was usually intended as a gift for my dad. graemlins/drool.gif

There's nothing quite like enjoying a treat
after you've clobbered the hell out of it!

Since this isn't strictly talk about candy, my favorite is also FUDGE! graemlins/drool.gif
There's also this cake I make every year for friends. I'll put up the recipe under Sleepy's thread, "Anybody Hungry?". It's a Wine Cake (made with sherry). An old family recipe, that everyone loves! graemlins/drunk.gif
In fact I brought one into work today and everyone's all giddy that I did! graemlins/laugh5.gif
