OMG! VH-1 is doing a series all this week on this era. It's called "I love the 80's". I watched 1982 last night and part of '83. OMG! It was hysterical graemlins/laugh2.gif . How many of you kids had those ugly ass Cabbage Patch babies? I forgot about those. My daughter couldn't understand the hype on those things! I wished I would have caught '81, darn it! (The year I graduated) They went into the mullets and all the other ugly styles. It's a wonder we survived. But, all in all, I think the '80 was an awesome era. It was "beddie beddie goood..to me!". Oh, Lord, I remember that commercial. Ahme, it was based on George Orwell's novel, 1984, in which the world had been enslaved and Big Brother was watching you. I was only four years old, and I still remember vividly that woman throwing the sledgehammer into Big Brother's giant face. Scary!!
