I've just been going through the photos saved onto my digital camera and this one caught my eye. I think I can see a figure (looks like a skeleton) standing in my window - I was just hoping that any other people can see it as well.

I can clearly see it's head, it's right shoulder and part of it's ribs.

I've also highlighted some lights on the far right of the window that I can't explain.

I apologise for the size of the image (900kb) but this is to ensure a clearer photo.

Well, I have heard that England is one of the most haunted countries in the whole world!

That is why I want to move there! I want to move in a little town called Eyam in Derbyshire...Plague cottages...Always been facinated with the plague.

Hey you say you live in Devon, Harbidge? I just read a story about woman named Kitty Jay. From Dartmoor. She killed herself in the 18th century. She was buried at a crossroads (Heatree Cross and Hound Tor, I think). Anyway, back then when you commited suicide, they drove a steak through your heart. In 1860 her bones were discovered and ever since then grass has grown on her grave (on a gravel road, just a patch, like an island almost) and fresh flowers grow there every day. Even when it snows. Though no footprints were ever visible...Some people have even seen Kitty Jay floating beside her grave...

There are a lot of ghost stories that I have heard from Devon, from Hell Hounds to the ghost that inhabits the Riverside Inn in Bovey Tracey...

Creepy stuff you got there! And I fully believe in ghosts...(although I have never seen one...) (yeah, yeah, yeah, I am an oddball!!!! SO WHAT!!!!!)

<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">Yeah, this is a true story. I've been to Jays grave after it had been snowing all night and during the day up there, and the flower that appeared there was one that couldn't have survived the winter - and this happened in January images/icons/blush.gif

Another haunted place in Devon is Berry Pomeroy Castle in Totnes. It's romantic ruins with about 5 different ghosts! I've been there and the atmosphere is really weird!

That is so cool! You've been to Kitty Jay's grave! I always found that OLD English countryside to be the most romatic and creepy places...I have never been to England, but would like to visit, or maybe *crosses fingers* live there one day!

Weird pic though...

a friend of mine recently relayed these rather

unusual stories...her mom was in bed, & thought

that she saw someone walk by her bedroom door.

it was around 5am, and she assumed that it was

Maryellen(my friend) up making coffee...so her

mom decided she would get up to make the coffee,

but nobody was there! also, my friend, her sister

& her mom were sitting at the kitchen table, when

her sister(who was facing toward the living room)

said "who just walked toward the bathroom?"

and again, NOBODY was there! graemlins/afraid5.gif

Beyond that window there is a 7ish meter long garden that has a downward slope. Then there's a 6ft high wall and then another 10 foot garden that belongs to one of our neighbours. Plus, that window is about 8-10 foot from the ground images/icons/wink.gif
