Best lead singer

Who's the best lead singer in your opinion?

Mine would be Jim Morrison because his voice is awesome and made The Doors one of my favorite bands.

hmm, freddie mercury is missing... And I voted Robert Plant. Paul and John should'nt have been included as this is a BEATLES community where people have a tendency to like the singers in Beatles.Personally I never thought of those two as being extraordinary singers..

i went with mick cuz he's sole function on stage was to sing. he's great to watch on stage, even though his voice is as technically good as, say, paul's. still, mick's got more style.

Mine would be John, Paul and Robert Plant, in that order; however, since this is the "Not Only a Northern Song" forum I decided that John & Paul went with out saying and took them out of the running, which made things a bit easier for me to choose.
